Nancy Holland

A few years prior to her retirement, Nancy Holland began thinking of how she could most effectively contribute her time and efforts to the betterment of others; Nancy wanted to be able to “give back.”

She has always believed that the inability to read, or read well, constitutes an extreme burden and handicap for an adult. This handicap dramatically lessens a person’s ability to improve their quality of life and the life of their family.

Nancy knew the Clark County Literacy Council would be the best place for her to be able to positively impact someone’s life for the better by tutoring and serving on the board. She loves it.
